Find Burd The Band's debut album "Fledglings" on all major music platforms today!

We love music. Especially creating it.

Burd The Band started out as a small project with plans to record a couple original songs, but we immediately realized we had some real musical chemistry. Plans changed. With our collective 100+ years of musical experience, we spent most of 2022 harnessing that energy in the form of off the cuff jams. We created new jams, usually several, every week for a full year and recorded every session. In 2023 the band made our first live appearances, including playing a few originals in front of an audience for the first time. We then began arranging and recording songs and are quickly approaching enough finished material to cover an entire hour of original music. The year 2024 was a crash course on how to mix and master music for the band. After months of learning, tweaking, and testing the sound just to reach an "I can live with that mix." point. In January 2025 we published and released our debut album "Fledglings". For 2025 we have a few goals including managing to find a rehearsal space so we can dial in our equipment and our show and finishing as many new songs as we can from a pile of unfinished tracks. Stay tuned! There is always new material on the way!
